wanzippo

i’m flying today to seattle from korea. i like to use a zippo due to its reliability. my question is do you think i can put it in my checked baggage. im wondering if it will explode.
also, does anybody know if you can take zippos on the airplane? i know you can take lighters now…but what about zippos?
