If I Refill My Zippo With Fluid, And It Stops Sparking Afterwards, What Is The Problem?

I refilled the brand new zippo and when i was done, it wouldnt spark anymore. Does this have something to do with the fluid getting on the flint or something??

If there is no spark, that is a flint problem. If you got it wet, then you need to dry it out and try again. It would be best if you removed the flint if there is any danger of you getting it wet. If there is spark, and no flame, that is a fluid problem.
Isn’t there a hole in the bottom of the lighter where you fill it up? That is how the ones I’ve seen worked… do you fill it up through the wick? That sounds backwards to me. No wonder you are having problems.

I’ve NEVER had a problem with a flint failing to spark simply because it was WET.. either with fuel or water, and I’ve been using them since 1975.
I’d CHECK to ensure you have a good flint. IF it’s good, give it a few minutes to dry… blow on it abit, and spark up !!
Seriously… I used my Zippo sitting in a life-raft in 1992 after an at-sea helicopter crash. I was drenched: I hooked up my raft to those of the pilot and copilots, hauled out my Zippo and sparked up a cigarette (after ensuring I wasn’t sitting in aviation fuel) and commenced calling for assistance.
EDIT… after your email, ensure you HAVE a flint !!

Yeah. The wheel is wet. Wait five or ten minutes, and try it again.
