Here is what you basically asked:
“Hey I have a bird and a dog. The bird breaths air on one side of the house, and the dog breaths air on the opposite side. If i swap the dog and the bird, will they still be able to breath air?”

Christ dude.. if it has the same port, then use it. Its just butane. You are not going to die.

If you’re talking about the pressurised lighter fuel in an aerosol can, then it is simply butane, and it makes no difference which brand you use. Butane is butane.
Regular Zippo lighter fuel however is a blend of much higher boiling components based on naphtha, and such types of lighter fuels will vary in composition from manufacturer to manufacturer.
